ITINERARY


DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT GANGTOK (130 KMS /4 TO 5 HOURS APPROX) 
On arrival at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport (IXB),  Drive to Gangtok (5500 feet /1677 metres above sea level). Check-in to your hotel on arrival and stay overnight comfortably.
 
DAY 2: GANGTOK - TSHANGU LAGE (43 KMS/3 HOURS) 
After breakfast, visit beautiful Tshangu Lake, situated at a height of 3780 metres. Return to Gangtok and enjoy an overnight stay.
 
DAY 3: GANGTOK - KALIMPONG (85 KM / 3 TO 4 HOURS) 
After breakfast, Full day sightseeing covering Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Water Fall, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom and have a great time enjoying the flower show. Back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
 
DAY 4: KALIMPONG 
After breakfast, set out on a city tour and visit Dello Hills, Dr. Graham's Home, flower nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills.

DAY 5: KALIMPONG - DARJEELING (70 KMS/3 TO 4 HRS) 
Transfer to Darjeeling (7380 feet / 2250 metres) and have a comfortable stay overnight.
 
DAY 6: DARJEELING 
Get up to an early morning (at around 4 am) and set out to Tiger Hills (8364 feet / 2550 metres) to view the sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back, visit Ghoom Monaster 
After breakfast, go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate.
After a tiring day, look forward to a relaxing overnight stay at your hotel.
 
DAY 7: DARJEELING - NJP RAILWAY STATION/BAGDOGRA AIRPORT (100 KMS / 3 TO 4 HOURS) 
Transfer to NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport in-time to board the train/flight for return journey.
